DYDX Personal Assistant — LinkedIn app (dydxgrowth / agentdydx) by Abhishek Krishna

Last updated: February 14, 2026

This privacy policy applies only to the LinkedIn app of DYDX Personal Assistant (the "App," dydxgrowth / agentdydx). It describes how the App collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes information when you connect your LinkedIn account. The App is used to schedule and publish posts on LinkedIn on your behalf. We comply with the LinkedIn API Terms of Use and this policy is at least as protective of your data as those terms require.

Consent before you connect

Before you connect your LinkedIn account, please read this policy. By authorizing the App (e.g. via OAuth), you give your consent for the collection, use, and storage described below. You may withdraw consent at any time (see "Withdrawing consent and deleting your data").

1. What data we collect

  • OAuth access token — When you connect your LinkedIn account, LinkedIn provides us with an access token. We use and store this token so the App can create and publish posts on your behalf at the times you schedule. We do not store your LinkedIn password.
  • Minimal profile data — When we post on your behalf, we may use your LinkedIn person identifier (URN) only as required by LinkedIn's API to attribute the post to you. We do not build or retain a profile about you beyond what is needed to operate the App.
  • Optional integrations — If you use linked features (e.g. Google Drive for content), data you provide there is governed by those services' policies; we use it only as you configure for the App.

2. When we collect data

  • At connection time — When you complete the OAuth flow and authorize the App, we receive and store the access token.
  • When posting — When a scheduled post is published, we use the token and the post content you provided to call LinkedIn's API. We do not scrape or collect LinkedIn data outside the APIs.

3. How we use your data

  • We use your access token and related identifiers only to create and publish posts on LinkedIn when you have scheduled them (e.g. via the agentdydx orchestrator or CLI).
  • We do not use your data for advertising or targeting. We do not sell, rent, lease, or transfer your data to third parties for advertising or any purpose other than operating the App as described.
  • We do not use your data in a way that would violate the LinkedIn API Terms of Use.

4. Disclosure and sharing

We do not disclose or share your tokens or LinkedIn data with third parties, except: (a) as necessary to operate the App (e.g. sending the post to LinkedIn via its official API), or (b) if required by law. When you self-host, tokens are stored in your own environment (e.g. .env or a secrets store you control); we do not receive or store them on our servers in that case.

5. Storage and security

Where data is stored — If you self-host the App, tokens are stored only in your own environment. We do not store your tokens on our servers unless you use a hosted instance we operate. Security — We follow industry-standard practices to protect credentials and prevent unauthorized access, and we do not store your LinkedIn password.

6. Data retention and deletion

We retain your access token only for as long as you use the App and have not withdrawn consent. When you revoke the App or request deletion, we delete your token and any related stored data. If you self-host, you can delete your token at any time by removing it from your environment.

7. Withdrawing consent and deleting your data

Withdraw consent — You may withdraw consent at any time by: revoking the App in LinkedIn (Settings & privacy → Data privacy → Permitted services → find the App → Remove access), or removing the token from your environment if you self-host.

Request deletion — You may request that we delete any data we hold about you. Contact us at the link below. We will process the request without undue delay.

8. Your rights

You have the right to know what data we hold, to request deletion, and to withdraw consent as described above. If you are in a jurisdiction with additional rights (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), we will honor them to the extent applicable.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

10. Contact

For questions about this policy, your data, or to request deletion, contact via the Hub or your preferred channel listed there. If we become aware of a breach that may affect your data, we will take steps to address it and, where required, notify affected users and LinkedIn as appropriate.
